Pruning

Chablis type pruning, reserved for Grands and Premiers Crus, is used for his Chardonnays. Asymmetrical Guyot cane pruning, which is particularly suited to the soil of the Côte des Bars, is used for the Pinot Noirs, Meuniers and Blancs. Although time-consuming, these pruning methods offer results that meet the stringent quality requirements of the winemaker. He encourages a leaf density that is most conducive to photosynthesis.
